Charlie Donovan is Executive Director of the Centre for Climate Finance and Investment and Academic Director of the MSc Climate Change, Management and Finance, Imperial College London. He is a Visiting Professor at the Foster School of Business, University of Washington. In his corporate career, Charlie was previously Head of Structuring and Valuation for Global Power at BP plc and part of the strategy team that launched BP Alternative Energy in 2005 with an $8 billion funding commitment. He has been a clean tech company co-founder and CFO. Professor Donovan began his career as an Energy Policy Analyst with the US Environmental Protection Agency during the Clinton Administration.
